Smoking during pregnancy is dangerous for both the mother and the baby. Cigarettes have dangerous chemical materials like nicotine, carbon monoxide and tar. When you smoke, these bad chemicals get in the bloodstream that is the main source of nutrients and oxygen for the baby.

Being exposed to smoke is more dangerous as the burnt contains more harmful substances. If you are exposed to smoke during pregnancy, this increases the chances of the negative effects mentioned.

3. Find new hobbies or activities.
4. Reduce your intake of caffeine drinks.
5. Change your habits related with smoking.
6. Have some gum instead once you have the urge to smoke.
