Adhesion complications:<\/strong><br>\na. Longer surgery duration.<br>\nb. Bowel or bladder injury.<br>\nc. Excessive bleeding.<br>\nd. Difficulties with fetal extraction in case of dense adhesion.<br>\ne. Difficulties in surgery<br>\nf. Bladder&#8217;s adhesion to the lower part of uterus.<br>\ng. Bladder position distortion.<br>\nh. Bowel obstruction.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>2. Complications with placenta:<\/strong><br>\nPlacenta previa and accreta, that may increase the risk of hemorrhage, need for blood transfusion and hysterectomy.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>3. Scars<\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Tubal Ligation:<\/strong><br>\nIt is a procedure to block or remove the fallopian tubes to prevent pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>It is a permanent form of birth control.<\/p>\n<p>This procedure is used when a woman is prone to repeat cesarean deliveries in a way that may put her in greater risk.<\/p>\n<p>Pregnancy rate with tubal ligation is around 1\/1000 in the first year and 2\/1000 after 5 years.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Tubal ligation procedures:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. It can be done at the same time of the cesarean section. The same incision for the C-section will be used to perform the ligation. It is done once the baby is delivered.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>2. Laparoscopic sterilization:<br>\nDone under general anesthesia.<br>\nLaparoscope is used through a small incision near the belly button in lower abdomen.<br>\nSometimes heat is used to seal the tubes or rings to block them, or the tubes are removed completely.<br>\nPatient can leave the hospital after few hours.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>After tubal ligation:<\/strong><br>\nPatient may experience some cramps similar to period cramps.<br>\nIt&#8217;s advised to avoid sexual intercourse for 2 weeks.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Tubal ligation can cause changes in menstrual periods such as fewer days, losing lower amount of blood and less pain.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In case of pregnancy after tubal ligation, the pregnancy is likely to be ectopic. Therefore, the lady should visit the doctor immediately if she experiences any signs of pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is common to advise the lady to do tubal ligation after the fourth cesarean to reduce the potential complications.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Tubal ligation complications:<\/strong><br>\nLow possibility of:<br>\n1.
